I use my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help individuals and families meet their goals and potential.
No two individuals are the same. Therefore, my treatments are tailored to your specific strengths and needs. After an initial assessment, we will work together to design a program that best meets your goals. This may include individual therapy, executive function tutoring, family therapy, etc.
Many times, when people start therapy, they expect to make quick changes with ease. Therapy is a process, and it takes time to make sure you are with the right therapist and have identified a treatment that works for you. My first and foremost goal as a therapist is for you to feel heard and understood.
My goal upon meeting you is to first understand what brought you to my office, before moving on to the goals. I will do a thorough assessment of your background, significant life events, past treatment experiences and your present goals.
